Does frequent dry cleaning shorten a garment's life?
On the contrary - frequent cleaning actually prolongs the life of a garment. Improperly cleaned fabrics often have stains which set with age, making the garment unusable. Ground-in dirt and soil act as an abrasive, much like sandpaper, causing rapid wear of fibers. Soiled clothes also attract insects, causing further damage.
When the care label says Washable, does this mean the garment can't be dry-cleaned?
Not necessarily. The Care Label Rule states that only one suitable method of care must be provided on the label. While cleaners usually follow the care instructions, they may not if otherwise requested. If you want your cleaner to dry clean an item when the label states otherwise, the cleaner may ask you to sign a damage waiver.
Condition for Accepting Garments
Membership offered by Green Clean in this form will be only upon receiving duly filled and signed by Green Clean from the Customer.
While every possible care and efforts are taken, Green Clean is not responsible for fastness of color or shrinkage of garments and does not guarantee 100% stain removal.
Green Clean billing will be direct and doesn’t presume any credit facilities.
Individual membership is not transferable and it will be responsibility of the customer to inform any change whatsoever
Original of Estimate Cum GRN slip needs to be presented at the time of taking delivery. Green Clean will not entertain any claim whatsoever, if original Estimate Cum GRN slip is not presented at the time of taking delivery
Customers are requested to examine their garments before taking delivery and we are not responsible for any damage after delivery.
Every effort's are made to deliver clothes in time, but due to some uncontrollable circumstances, if the delivery becomes late, the customer is not entitled for any compensation or reduction in the charges.
Ten times of the washing rate will be given for articles lost/damaged if claimed within 30 days except small piece like kerchief, scurf, undergarments etc.
Government Taxes shall be extra, if applicable.
The Service Tariff is subject to change without notice.
Green Clean reserves the right of approval of items that can be laundered.
Green Clean shall provide a Service Card for each customer wherein the Customer will mention the collection and delivery time, which is suitable to him. Green Clean shall collect and delivery the garments only at those selected time or at such other time suitable to the customer which are informed to Green Clean well in advance.
